What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:16).
We believe that there is only one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4) He has revealed himself to humanity as the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
We believe that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures (I Corinthians 15:4).
We believe that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We believe that "He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed" (Acts 19:2)?
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4).
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. With baptism, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6). “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38).
We believe that "likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner
that repenteth" (Luke 15:10).
