ABOUT THE PASTOR

Geraldine Sanders is the pastor of Lift Him Up Ministries in Pensacola, Florida.  She was born on May 28, 1954, in Oak Hill, Wilcox County, Alabama.  She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in April 1984 when she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues according to Acts 2:38.  Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science interdisciplinary from the University of West Florida and an Associate of Arts degree in education and a certificate in general clerical from Pensacola Junior College.  She retired after 28 years of service with the federal government.

Pastor Sanders has been saved for over 40 years and has been chosen, anointed and appointed by the Lord to minister the word.  She is an ordained minister.  She has served  faithfully as an evangelist and teacher under numerous ministries, and she received a certificate after attending and serving as a teacher in the School of the Prophets.  Throughout the years, she has worked in the nursing home ministry, jail ministry, Sunday school ministry and in the community witnessing for Christ.  Pastor Sanders is also a Christian recording artist, and for two years, she hosted a Christian television program on BLAB TV called Lift Him Up Ministries.  From that program was birthed Lift Him Up Ministries where she has served as pastor since 2002.

Pastor Geraldine Sanders has been married to Co-Pastor Glenn Sanders for over 42 years, and they work in unison at Lift Him Up Ministries.  They have two daughters, Bridgette and Glenna Sanders, who both serve various roles in the church.
